My career in the insurance industry began with my role as an underwriter with Nationwide in 1980. Later, in 1983, I moved into sales and started my very own agency, from scratch! The journey from then until now has been a rewarding one. I am honored to live up to my role as a trusted advisor for members of this community. I wholeheartedly enjoy being in the unique position to help people with their insurance needs by explaining things so that they can better understand their coverage needs. After all, everyone needs insurance!

I’ve lived in Camp Hill, PA and moved to Etters not long after Graduating from Shippensburg University in 1980. Aside from business, my close friends and family members will tell you I am very passionate about cooking, and they’re right! One of my ways to spend my free time is to entertain guests at my home by the grill. Something most people do not know about me is that I also like to go scuba diving!

I have over six years’ experience as a practicing attorney which includes insurance defense litigation. I came on board to the Peiffer Agency in the Summer of 2018—originally as an associate agent and to provide in-house legal counsel. However, my role in the agency has grown since then and I am happy to be a permanent member of the team.

I grew up in northern York County and attended Red Land High School. Thereafter, I graduated from The Pennsylvania State University and subsequently attended Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School. During my tenure at law school, I was a Senior Associate Editor of Law Review, I obtained a certificate of merit in Pre-trial Skills, and graduated with honors, cum laude. I even used to chair the York County Bar Association’s Clarence “Chuck” Patterson Diversity Scholarship where I mentored law school students at the York Public Defender’s Office.

I am very excited to offer a new perspective on the business and to help clients protect their families, homes, and assets. I am proud of my role as a trusted advisor to many in this community I call home.

Hobbies of mine include: playing ice hockey, snowboarding, and researching new stock market investment opportunities. Something that most people don’t know about me is that I play both guitar and piano, having been a practiced musician for much of my life. When I’m not working, you can certainly find me winding down with a glass of wine and spending time with my two daughters, Aurie and Adaline.

I have been an associate agent for a long time, since 1984 in fact! The best part about my job has always been having the unique opportunity to be a trusted advisor to the members of this wonderful community. I was born and raised here in York, PA and I am proud to call myself a veteran.

Something that most people don't know about me is that I am a big sports guy. I enjoy watching the Steelers and Penn State football, and am even a longtime (suffering) Baltimore Orioles fan. My family is something that has always been very important to me. That’s why when I’m not in the office, you can find me spending time with my wife and the rest of my family. Aside from that, I am a news and politics addict and like to read books whenever I have free time.

I have been with the Peiffer Agency for over 15 years! I am a bilingual associate agent licensed in Personal, Commercial Allied and Life lines. One of my favorite parts about my job is educating people on the need for insurance, so they can better keep their loved ones protected from whatever life throws their way.

I grew up in Brooklyn, New York but have since fallen in love with life here in York County. I consider this community my home and its people my family! That’s why what we do here at the Peiffer Agency feels so rewarding on a daily basis. I know that because of the work that we do, there are entire families that can enjoy peace of mind. Family is something that has always been important to me, that’s why I enjoy spending my free time with my daughter & grandkids.

I was born and raised in south central Pennsylvania in the small town of Hanover. In 2022 I moved to York PA and fell in love with the city. Working side by side with such a knowledgeable staff has given me the opportunity to use my passion for customer service to directly help the people of Pennsylvania!

I spend my free time with my two dogs, Eddie and Edith! Hobbies of mine include board games, puzzles, watching movies, and trivia.
